ERH services the Shire of Campaspe and the cross-border Murray River Council. Echuca Moama and townships are located directly across the state border from one another, separated by the Murray River.

ERH provides a comprehensive range of acute, medical, surgical and sub-acute services plus residential aged care and a broad range of community healthcare services. Applications are sought from suitably qualified Physiotherapist to work in the Physiotherapy department at Echuca Regional Health. This role is being offered on as a Full-Time rotational role and will give you a great opportunity to work in a wide range of clinical areas.
Areas of work include:
1. Inpatient wards encompass General Surgery (including Orthopaedic), Maternity, Paediatrics, General Medicine, High Dependency, Emergency Department and Subacute Rehabilitation.
2. Community Rehabilitation Program
3. Community Outpatient Care
4. Women’s Health and Antenatal Education
5. Paediatrics
6. National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
7. Aged Care (Residential, Home Based and Community)
Key responsibilities include:
8. Maintaining a clinical load appropriate to level of experience;
9. Contributing to the day to day operation/functioning of the Physiotherapy Department including participation in the weekend and Public Holiday roster;
10. Demonstrating evidence based Physiotherapy practice and contributing to a culture of learning within the department.
11. Maintain core clinical competence specific to the area of clinical practice.
12. Act as a patient advocate
13. Actively participate in in-house education and training programs
Our team requires someone who has:
14. Proven experience working in Acute nursing
15. Excellent time management and organization skills
16. Enrolled Nurses with medication administration endorsement
17. Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skill
18. High level interpersonal skills
