This role involves supporting small and medium-sized businesses in various sectors by providing bookkeeping, management accounts, year-end accounts preparation, personal & corporate tax services.
About the Position
It offers great opportunities for personal and career development, growth, and progression. As an Assistant Manager, you will prepare financial accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, as well as corporation and personal tax compliance.
You will liaise directly with clients to clear queries and provide additional advice and guidance on accounting matters.
The successful candidate will be effective in working both independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
* Hold the ICAEW/ACCA qualification or demonstrate equivalent experience.
* A high level of IT proficiency and experience with MS Office (Word, Excel), Xero, Quickbooks, and Sage are essential.
* A minimum of 3 years of previous experience within a UK accountancy practice environment is required, with frontline contact with clients.
* Previous involvement in accounts preparation work and tax returns for unincorporated and corporate clients is necessary.
