About Brisbane Youth Education and Training CentreThe Brisbane Youth Education and Training Centre (BYETC) is a co‐educational school that delivers educational programs for up to 162 remanded and sentenced young people at the Brisbane Youth Detention Centre. BYETC students have diverse learning needs, and a significant majority have had disrupted or negative schooling experiences. We seek to address this by supporting students to close individual learning gaps and attain vocational skills leading to qualifications.
About the RoleSpecific responsibilities of the role will include:
Experience in delivering vocational training or developing apprentices will be highly valued, as will a demonstrated capacity to build relationships and networks with employers and other stakeholders to support young people to gain entry into the automotive field.
