About the opportunity
We have an exciting casual opportunity available for a Vegetation Management Field Team Member based across in Rockhampton.
You'll work on a variety of land conservation projects, including chemical spraying of roadsides and protected areas, as well as weed control, revegetation planting, and maintenance activities.
This is a fully field-based role, requiring resilience and a positive attitude towards working in a variety of weather conditions.

About you
* To be successful in this role, the following are highly regarded but not essential:
* Certificate in Conservation and Ecosystem Management, or similar
* Experience or interest in identifying native flora and invasive species
* Agricultural Chemical Distribution Control (ACDC) Accreditation
Relevant tickets or experience operating and maintaining equipment such as mowers, chainsaws, and brush-cutters
The following are essential:
* General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
* Ability to pass a police check and regular drug and alcohol screening
* Mature attitude, responsible and able to work unsupervised
* Physically fit and willing to undertake labour intensive work
* Reliable, hardworking and committed to a strong safety culture
