Are you passionate about creating vibrant, sustainable communities?
Join us as Planner (Strategic) in our City Planning team and play a key role in local area planning, strategic land use policy and projects relating to City planning issues. Your main focus will be on formulating, implementing and monitoring plans, policies and guidelines to support the Ipswich City Plan 2025.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Deliver statutory, local area and strategic land use planning projects as part of a multi-disciplinary team
* Provide assistance of a professional and technical nature to developers, consultants and the public in the development of land use plans
* Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders on City Planning issues
* Create and foster relationships across Council and stakeholders in the delivery of planning related projects

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Bachelor's degree in Town Planning from a recognised tertiary education institute and relevant experience to undertake the range of duties required
