This role focuses on leading the site-based Electrical maintenance team to deliver reliability, operational performance, and sustainable improvements in line with safety and regulatory requirements.
The Maintenance team provides best practice support and customer service across the Production and Maintenance departments, aiming to maximise plant uptime and optimise the Maintenance / Asset Care plan while supporting real-time production activity.
What you will do
Oversee the daily activities of the Electrical maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Coordinate daily workloads, prioritise tasks, and ensure the team meets operational goals.
Liaise with external contractors and equipment subject-matter experts to execute planned maintenance activities.
Identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations.
Ensure cost efficiency while maintaining high standards of equipment reliability.
Experience & Qualifications
Electrical Trade Qualification
A Grade Electrical Licence and demonstrated experience in a FMCG Team Manager role
Proven coaching and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment
Able to manage multiple priorities and communicate with various internal stakeholders
Ability to build team engagement
Radiation safety officer licence (preferred)
Diploma or equivalent in leadership and management (desirable)
