About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, your key responsibility will be to engage with our valued retailers and ensure they maximize their business opportunities through various support programs.
This role involves travel approximately 30% of the time. As a trusted liquor retail business advisor, you will leverage your relationship management skills to drive sales, deliver key initiatives, and build relationships with members across Cellarbrations, The Bottle-O, and Thirsty Camel.
Key Responsibilities
* Blding and maintaining customer relationships within our liquor retail network.
* Solid understanding of Territory Management including call cycle, territory plan, and time management.
* Managing existing territory customer base while supporting new retail development and Greenfields sites.
* Championing state-level marketing promotions, critical communications, and IBA initiatives.
* Handling administration by maintaining accurate customer records, weekly sales reporting, market intelligence, and cost control.
You're Likely a Match If:
* Experience in liquor retail with a strong understanding of the customer and store environment.
* A proven track record in sales-driven roles.
* Solid knowledge of the liquor and FMCG industries.
* Confident understanding of liquor products.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness.
