About the Role
The Infrastructure Architect is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the strategy, roadmaps, lifecycle management, and technical standards for cloud infrastructure and platforms used by the department.
This includes creating high-level target state infrastructure architecture that aligns to internal best practice and guardrails, contributing to architecture decisions, costing, and estimates of project engagements.
The department operates a hybrid environment that utilises Microsoft Azure cloud, Microsoft 365 cloud, and on-premise Microsoft Active Directory-based infrastructure.
Applications use a combination of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
About You
We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong business acumen who has a track record of gathering and interpreting business requirements.
You will have designed individual and integrated solutions to achieve business benefits and demonstrated outstanding collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
Training, certifications, and/or experience with Microsoft cloud and on-premise environments are desirable.
