About This Opportunity
Harvey Fresh has an excellent opportunity for a trade-qualified Maintenance Technician (Mechanical Fitter or Electrician) to join their Harvey team (140km south of Perth).
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a lead role in servicing and repairing cooling and heating systems on site, ensuring smooth processing and packaging activities. Your responsibilities include preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, project work, and installations in a professional, multi-skilled production environment.
Main Responsibilities
Implement Preventative Maintenance programs for cooling & heating systems to ensure efficient services;
Develop and monitor schedules for equipment & plant, identifying faults and taking corrective actions;
Perform scheduled and ad-hoc safety checks;
Investigate failures and recommend improvements;
General maintenance including blowmoulding, filling machines, packaging equipment, boilers, and refrigeration systems;
Assist in induction and training of new staff.
Candidate Requirements
Relevant trade qualification (mechanical or electrical);
Experience with boiler rooms and refrigeration essential;
Experience in food, dairy, packaging, or process industries advantageous;
Team player with a positive 'Can Do' attitude.
