We are deeply involved in every step of the coffee supply chain—from farm to international distribution—and are expanding our position within the Australian specialty coffee wholesale market.
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and driven Sales and Marketing Manager to join our B2B wholesale team in Marrickville, Sydney.
In this role, you'll lead the design and execution of strategic marketing and sales initiatives to strengthen our presence across Australia's professional roasting and specialty coffee business sector.
You will report directly to the General Manager and oversee a dynamic team that operates fully within the wholesale distribution environment.
This includes two Relationship Managers in Australia and two Marketing Developers in Colombia who support wholesale marketing and client-facing strategies.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic planning and daily execution—ideal for someone passionate about the specialty coffee industry, results-driven, and committed to growing a brand that operates purely in the B2B wholesale space.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage targeted marketing strategies to connect Australian and international coffee roasters with growers in all countries we source coffee—boosting annual sales and fostering long-term partnerships
Drive strategies to showcase our farms and partnerships in Colombia to audiences in Australia and worldwide, generating engagement that supports long-term relationships and increased annual coffee sales.
Lead weekly online meetings with the marketing team based in Colombia, providing guidance on creating valuable content for our Australian and global social media platforms, newsletters, and website.
Develop and lead marketing strategies to increase brand exposure and strengthen our presence in the Australian specialty coffee industry.
Lead meetings with the sales and marketing teams, obtain feedback and review reports in order to make informed decisions and guide the direction of sales and marketing strategies.
Directing the development and implementation of strategies to build and maintain Cofinet's image and reputation with its customers and the public.
Lead weekly meetings with the sales team to shape and roll out sales strategies, set clear targets, and stay focused on growing sales and building strong, lasting relationships with our customers in the Australian specialty coffee roasters.
Requirements
A relevant bachelor's degree or higher qualification, or a minimum of five years of relevant experience in lieu of qualifications.
At least 3 years of experience in the specialty coffee industry, ideally within a B2B or wholesale environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Comfortable working with wholesale sales data, targets, and performance reporting.
Competent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written).
A creative thinker who brings new ideas, drives innovation, and guides teams toward effective wholesale strategies.
A genuine passion for coffee and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
