About the role
Join the team at Cleveland Timber & Hardware as a full-time Stock Controller based in Bohle, QLD 4818. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of the company's inventory and ensuring a seamless supply chain operation.
What you'll be doing
* Accurately track and monitor stock levels across all product categories
* Liaise with suppliers to coordinate timely deliveries and manage purchase orders
* Identify opportunities to optimise inventory, minimise stockouts and reduce excess stock
* Implement and maintain effective stock control procedures and policies
* Provide detailed reporting on inventory metrics and trends
* Work closely with the sales and operations teams to align inventory with customer demand
* Support the implementation of new stock management systems and technologies
What we\'re looking for
* Proven experience as a Stock Controller or similar inventory management role
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
* Excellent organisational and time management abilities
* Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office suite
* Knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics
* Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
