* To undertake postgraduate research in fields aligned with CSIRO’s strategic objectives, under the co-supervision of a CSIRO scientist/research scientist and academic supervisor;
* Conduct high-quality research that contributes significantly to advancing knowledge in their field;
* Develop relevant skills in scientific inquiry, problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, teamwork and leadership through coursework or professional development opportunities;
