The position is responsible for applying model statistical techniques to clinical studies and to play a key role in the development/validation of CareDx products in Solid Organ Transplantation. In addition, the Sr Biostatistician will provide statistical support to various projects and initiatives within the company. This is a technical role having key interfaces with personnel from Medicare Affairs, Clinical Operations, Clinical Data Management and Laboratory Operations.Responsibilities:Provide statistical expertise for design, analysis and reporting of clinical studiesCollaborate with various functions on study design and planning, protocol development, statistical methodology and analysis.Perform sample size calculationsPerform statistical ad hoc analysis.Develop statistical analysis plans and analysis specifications.Develop analytical pipelines and QC the results.Collaborate with data management and clinical operations to ensure robust CRF and database development and quality data collection.Collaborate in publications, assist in data interpretation, and ensure consistency and accuracy in data presentationRepresent biostatistics on study/project teams.Qualifications:PhD or Master in statistics, mathematics, computational methods, or a related disciplineMinimum 3 years of experience with a PhD degree or 5 years of experience with a Master degree working in biotech or related industry;Ability to work independently and within a team.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.Good interpersonal and project management skills are essential.Proficiency in R required, SAS optional.Additional Details:Every individual at CareDx has a direct impact on our collective mission to improve the lives of organ transplant patients worldwide.
