The BelRose Group has been exclusively engaged by Carpentaria Disability Services to appoint a Director of Operations Deputy Chief Operations Officer. This senior leadership role will oversee major service delivery programs and drive operational performance across the organisation.
Carpentaria Disability Services is a not for profit organisation delivering allied health, disability support and community programs for children, young people and adults. With more than fifty years of service, the organisation operates across urban, regional and remote communities in the Northern Territory. At its heart, Carpentaria is dedicated to enabling independence, enhancing quality of life and supporting people to engage in their communities.
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Director of Operations will provide strategic and operational leadership across key programs including Supported Accommodation Services, Out of Home Care, Ready for Home and the Pathways Program. The role will strengthen operational performance, support leadership capability and ensure services meet quality, safety and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
* Provide strategic direction and operational oversight across multiple service delivery programs
* Monitor program performance including occupancy, utilisation, quality indicators and financial outcomes
* Ensure services meet NDIS Practice Standards and Northern Territory regulatory requirements
* Lead operational improvement initiatives including digital systems and data informed decision making
* Mentor and support Directors
* Manage operational budgets and contribute to long term financial sustainability and service growth
Ideal profile
* Tertiary qualifications in business, management, health or human services
* Significant senior leadership experience within a human services environment or similar
* Demonstrated experience managing complex multi site service delivery operations
* Strong knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and regulatory compliance requirements
* Proven operational leadership across budgeting, workforce management and performance monitoring
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
* Commitment to person centred practice, human rights and culturally inclusive service delivery
