Join to apply for the Domestic Assistant role at Southern Cross Care WA. 
We provide care, support and accommodation for West Australians in greatest need. Our purpose is to enable our clients to remain at home for as long as possible, with a team dedicated to delivering friendly domestic assistance. 
Location 
Our needs are currently in the following locations: Dianella, Greenwood, Sorrento, Hammond Park, Bibra Lake, Success. 
Responsibilities 
- Undertake domestic duties according to specific care plan requirements. 
- Provide feedback to client care coordinators if you notice any client behaviour that might require a new assessment. 
- Conduct yourself in a pleasant & professional manner. 
- Make sure that each client is satisfied with services provided. 
- Complete documentation as required. 
- Attend & contribute to Support Worker & Domestic Assistant meetings. 
About You 
You have a connection with older people and enjoy delivering quality, friendly service. It’s okay if you don’t have formal aged care experience, but you should be able to respect client privacy and follow required processes and guidelines. 
To Be Considered For This Role, You’ll Need 
- Experience assisting someone with domestic duties. 
- Great interpersonal skills & the ability to communicate well with others. 
- The ability to use mobile technology and apps with ease. 
- A genuine desire to go above and beyond for our clients. 
- Own reliable motor vehicle & valid WA driver’s license. 
- Driving confidence on Australian roads & during peak-hour as required.
