The Role
We are seeking multiple Forklift Operator & Fertiliser Operators to join a busy cotton operation in Kununurra, WA, supporting the cotton industry.
Key Responsibilities
These roles support the safe movement, handling, and preparation of fertiliser products that are essential to cotton production. Depending on your experience, you may focus on forklift operations, fertiliser blending, or a combination of both.
Forklift Operations
* Safely operate forklifts and related machinery across the warehouse and yard
* Load, unload, and move cotton bales and other products around the warehouse
* Transport products between storage, loading areas, and dispatch points
* Conduct basic equipment checks and report any maintenance requirements
* Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas to prevent contamination and ensure safe operations
* Manage fertiliser stock to ensure products remain clean, dry, and in good condition
* Measure, mix, and load fertiliser blends accurately according to farmer orders
* Operate loaders and forklifts to move fertiliser between storage, blending, and dispatch areas
* Load fertiliser into bulk tippers, bulk bags, or prepare deliveries for transport
* Coordinate with administration and site supervisors on weights, storage, and deliveries
* Assist with stocktakes, inventory accuracy, and reporting shortages
* Maintain accurate records of blending and stock movements
* Support equipment maintenance and keep the fertiliser handling area clean and organised
* Competitive pay rate of $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
* Consistent workload with approximately 50 hours per week
* Ongoing employment with potential for long‐term stability
* Opportunity to work with agricultural machinery and fertiliser blending systems
* Work in a key supply role supporting farmers and agricultural production
Your Skills & Experience
To succeed in this role, you will have experience working in agricultural operations or fertiliser handling environments and be confident operating machinery.
* Current forklift licence and driver's licence
* Experience operating front‐end loaders or similar machinery
* Experience with fertiliser mixing or agricultural product blending highly regarded
* Strong attention to detail when measuring and mixing product
* Ability to work in a physical outdoor environment
* Reliable, safety‐focused, and able to work effectively in a team
