* Key responsibilities include assisting with personal care, meal preparation, household cleaning, laundry, ironing, and supporting clients with shopping, medical appointments, and social outings.
* Additional duties may involve monitoring and reporting changes in a client's health or behavior, escalating concerns to ensure safety, and delivering care in line with individual Care Plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Current driver's licence and reliable car with comprehensive insurance.
* Certificate III, IV, or Diploma in Aged Care, Home Care, Disability, or related field.
* Current First Aid Certificate.
* Clear verbal communication skills to engage effectively with older clients.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
* Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
* Flexibility in hours and approach, with availability aligned to client needs.
* Ability to review and accurately document care plans.
* Experience using mobility aids and assisting with client hoisting (advantageous).
* Spanish language skills are highly regarded.
