About the Role
We seek a highly organized and detail-focused professional to support our legal and compliance team. This role involves essential legal, compliance, and administrative support contributing to effective operations.

* Prepare, review, and format legal documents, contracts, correspondence, and internal advice.
* Maintain legal filing systems, registers, and precedent libraries in accordance with retention and security requirements.
* Conduct legal research into legislation, regulations, case law, and industry guidelines preparing summaries and briefing materials.
* Support compliance and governance activities including tracking obligations related to applicable legislation.
* Monitor regulatory developments and assist with updating internal procedures and registers.
* Coordinate statutory filings, key employee licensing, regulatory submissions, and responses to investigations or notices.
* Liaise with external legal providers, auditors, and consultants managing document collation for legal reviews and audits.
* Provide meeting coordination, scheduling, and operational support for the Legal and Compliance team.
Qualifications
About You
You are someone who brings strong judgment, organization, and a commitment to high-quality work. You also enjoy supporting a dynamic compliance function, take pride in getting details right, and are comfortable working with sensitive information.
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
* 3-5 years' experience in a paralegal, legal assistant, or legal support role.
* Strong capability in preparing and interpreting standard legal documents and summarizing legislation or legal advice.
* Experience supporting in-house legal, compliance, or governance teams.
* Excellent organizational, time management, and written communication skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems.
* Tertiary qualifications in law or legal studies (desirable).
