Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to support our purchasing operations in Western Australia. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring our warehouse and procurement activities run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Purchasing Operations: Assist with day-to-day purchasing and warehouse tasks, including managing the purchasing of consumables and bulk materials for stock.
* Rig Orders and Stock Management: Complete purchasing for rig orders and ad-hoc requests, maintain accurate stock levels, and assist with stocktakes.
* Liaison and Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and freight companies to ensure timely deliveries, handle goods receipting, rig order costing, and administrative tasks.
* Safety and Compliance: Operate a forklift safely within the warehouse and yard.
Requirements:
* Experience: Previous experience in a purchasing role (mining or drilling operations highly regarded).
* Skill Set: Strong organisational and communication skills, ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure, familiarity with inventory systems and the MS Office suite.
