Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Trust Investigator to lead complex investigations into law practices and legal practitioners. The successful candidate will deliver high-level investigative services, produce reports for tribunal scrutiny, and execute targeted regulatory activities across NSW.
About the Role
* Plan, conduct, and report on caseloads of investigations into suspected breaches of the Uniform Law.
* Gather evidence in accordance with evidentiary practice and legislated requirements.
* Analyze trends to inform recommendations on compliance strategies, policies, and operational processes.
* Represent the organization at hearings before the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal if necessary.
The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in commerce or accounting. They should be members of Chartered Accounts ANZ or CPA Australia. Strong problem-solving skills with experience in an investigative environment is essential. Proficiency in financial analysis software is highly desirable as well as strong written communication skills.
