* Testing Practices:
Lead regression testing for frequent (often daily) deployments, oversee feature verification, and ensure regression coverage.
* Best Practices & Standards:
Define and promote testing standards, processes, and tooling across product teams, embedding quality into engineering workflows.
* Defect Management:
Drive structured defect reporting, triage, and resolution processes, ensuring rapid feedback loops with engineers and stakeholders.
* Mentorship:
Provide guidance and mentorship to QA and software engineers, helping build testing capability across the organisation.
* Collaboration:
Partner closely with engineers, product managers, and designers within a product triad to ensure features meet functional and customer requirements.
* Continuous Improvement:
Proactively identify opportunities to improve deployment quality, automation frameworks, and testing efficiency at scale.
What you'll bring:
* Strong experience designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks for web-based applications, and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
* Deep understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, regression, end-to-end, and exploratory testing.
* Solid knowledge of SaaS and cloud-based applications, with scripting or coding experience in modern languages (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, Python).
* Experience leading QA initiatives within agile product teams, mentoring colleagues, and promoting a culture of shared responsibility for quality.
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of influencing engineering practices and advocating for quality across the organisation.
* Good to have: experience with performance, load, security, or accessibility testing, API/contract testing, and familiarity with monitoring/observability tools.
Experience & Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience
