About The Business
In this role, you will be working for our Infrastructure Services business which forms part of the CV group.
The team specialises in electrical infrastructure works and provides a comprehensive range of design, supply and construction services. Our projects include major road and rail infrastructure, commercial and industrial projects, urban developments and subdivisions, and airports and airfields.
We have over 200 team members with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects for our wide range of clients.
About The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Electrical Supervisor to join our team based at Hendra. As an Electrical Supervisor your tasks will include, but not be limited to:
* Oversee all site activities under the direction of the Project Manager.
* Lead multiple teams of electrical workers.
* Work closely with the Project Manager to implement cost-effective construction methodologies.
* Coordinate with the Project Engineer to ensure all work meets the highest quality, environmental, and health & safety standards.
* Provide Quality Assurance and control sign off to relevant works in-line with Quality Assurance process and project requirements.
* Provide Quality Assurance and sign off on relevant works in accordance with project and compliance requirements.
* Manage resource allocation in alignment with the project schedule, ensuring efficient planning and execution.
* Monitor ongoing and upcoming works to identify potential challenges or issues and provide direction on best method for resolution.
* Assist the Project Managers with the tracking of Apprentices, including their progress and work standards.
* Maintain effective client and stakeholder engagement throughout the construction process.
About You
Are you the person CV needs? If you can answer yes to the points below, you just might be
* Current unrestricted QLD Electrical Workers Licence
* Current manual Driver's Licence
* 5 + years' experience in the electrical construction industry.
* Proven experience in a supervisory role or similar leadership position.
* Experience with the Energex/Ergon network preferred.
* Experience with High Voltage Infrastructure (private/network) preferred.
* Experience with Substations, Large Customer Connections etc. preferred.
* Experience with overhead, underground reticulation preferred.
* Experience/understanding switching Low Voltage networks preferred.
* Experience with the TMR Network, Including Rate 3 lighting preferred.
* Strong organizational and planning skills with keen attention to detail.
* Competence in training and mentoring team members.
* Strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.
