Role Summary: Store Person Grade 3
The Store Person Grade 3 supports the day‑to‑day operations of a specific DTL site, ensuring efficient warehousing activities such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching Defence equipment, supplies, and materials. Working under the supervision of the Team Leader, the Store Person Grade 3 ensures all tasks comply with DTL contractual requirements, Defence regulations, safety protocols, and operational standards. The role requires strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities
* Receive, store, pick, pack, and dispatch Defence equipment, supplies, and materials.
* Maintain accurate stock records and perform regular inventory checks.
* Ensure compliance with Defence regulations, safety protocols, and DTL contractual requirements.
* Collate and produce reports on storage activity, reductions, and stock reconciliations.
* Assist in onboarding and training new staff in safety and operational procedures.
Qualifications
* Entitlement to work in Australia.
* Prepared to undertake pre‑employment checks, including a criminal history check and medical examination.
* Relevant education or experience in warehousing, logistics or a related field.
* Demonstrated attention to detail and organisational ability.
