About the Role
As a Mower Operator at Serco, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining high standards of turf and lawn care for the City of Melbourne. You’ll work as part of a skilled team to ensure public spaces are safe, clean, and visually appealing. This is a hands‑on, full‑time role based in Melbourne with weekday hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out mowing and brush cutting in line with contract specifications and schedules
- Remove rubbish and debris before starting work to ensure clean and safe operations
- Maintain and operate plant, vehicles, and equipment in a safe and professional manner
- Report equipment defects and complete accurate records for maintenance and compliance

Qualifications
- Current driver’s license
- Working With Children’s Check
- Understanding of turf machinery operations
