Responsibilities
1. Conduct comprehensive health and fitness assessments, including medical history reviews, physical evaluations, and diagnostic tests (e.g., cardiopulmonary exercise testing, strength, and flexibility assessments).
2. Prescribe individualized exercise programs tailored to clients' health conditions, goals, and abilities.
3. Deliver one-on-one and group exercise sessions, monitoring responses, and adjusting programs for safety and effectiveness.
4. Educate clients on physical activity benefits and lifestyle modifications to promote health and wellness.
5. Collaborate with team members and broader healthcare professionals, including GPs and specialists, to provide integrated care.
6. Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans.
7. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with research and best practices.
