About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Wholesale Buyer/Valuer to join the team on a full-time basis in Warwick Farm. The successful candidate will call on and build relationships with automotive dealers, leasing companies, attend auctions/motor vehicle tenders and monitor online websites such as carsales.com.au, social media sites and other relevant publications.
Responsibilities
* Valuing vehicles offered for trade in
* Arranging direct purchase of stock to meet the trading needs of the used car sales centres
* Ensure online valuation leads are actioned
* Support retail sites by achieving monthly vehicle acquisition targets
* Ensure suitable stock mix is available
* Maintain strong relationships with the team
* Provide supporting documentation for all deals within approved timeframes
Requirements for the role will involve the following
* Previous experience working in a purchasing team
* Good knowledge of purchasing, commercial understanding, and cost breakdown
* Negotiation skills
* Valid drivers license
* Ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships
