Job Ad – Centre Coordinator / Nominated Supervisor

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Centre Coordinator / Nominated Supervisor to lead our team and manage the day-to-day operations of the service. You will ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, NQS, and My Time, Our Place – Version 2.0, while supporting and developing educators to deliver quality programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the Responsible Person and ensure the centre operates safely and compliantly at all times.
* Lead, support, and mentor educators, including conducting performance reviews and developing individual training plans.
* Provide hands-on care for children, including supervising play, facilitating activities, and supporting social and emotional development.
* Prepare food and assist with meal routines in line with health and safety standards.
* Oversee program planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring alignment with MTOP.
* Maintain staff, family, and child records securely and confidentially.
* Manage administrative tasks, budgets, and resources in consultation with the centre administrator and Management Committee.
* Ensure staff hold all required compliance certifications (WWCC, First Aid, Asthma/Anaphylaxis, etc.).
* Promote a positive, collaborative, and professional workplace culture.
About You:
* Diploma of Early Education and Childcare Services
* Proven experience in school-age care leadership, ideally as a Centre Coordinator or Nominated Supervisor.
* Strong knowledge of the NQF, NQS, and MTOP framework.
* Knowledge of OWNA and Microsoft 365 suite or willingness to learn.
* Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.
* Committed to professional development and supporting team growth.
* Current compliance certifications (WWCC, Child Protection, First Aid, Asthma/Anaphylaxis) or willingness to obtain.

Hours (negotiable):
Vacation Care- 32 hours a week x 12 weeks a year
Administration- 16 hours a week x 52 weeks a year
OOSH – 13 hours a week x 40 weeks a year
