Coordinator
Job Description:
The Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day running of the service and management of a team of Educators. This involves developing quality programs, managing the day-to-day operations of the programs, coordinating staffing and rostering of staff, ensuring compliance with policy, undertaking administrative requirements, and working collaboratively with families and the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement quality programs that meet the needs of children;
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the programs, including scheduling and staffing;
* Coordinate the activities of the Educators to ensure the smooth operation of the service;
* Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, including OSHC regulations and YMCA standards;
* Undertake administrative tasks as required, including maintaining accurate records and reports;
* Work collaboratively with families and the school community to provide high-quality care and education for children.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Completed (or close to completion) of relevant qualifications in Childcare or Teaching;
* Demonstrated experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcare;
* Demonstrated experience in maintaining effective administration and correct documentation in an OSHC service;
* Excellent customer service skills;
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
* First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain;
* Certificate of Suitability to work with Children and Young People (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain.
