About the role
TKL Contractors are looking for a reliable and hardworking general labourer to join our team.
This role involves a variety of hands on tasks, including backfilling of pools, manual handling and assisting tradespeople as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out general labouring duties on site, this will include but not limited to; backfilling of pools, assisting with limestone wall construction, assisting the concrete team, assisting the paving team, assisting the carpentry team, assisting the fencing team and assisting the earthworks team.
* Load, unload and move materials safely
* Assist with basic construction, assembly or maintenance tasks
* Support the team with any other duties as required.
What we are Looking For
* A current and valid 'C' class manual drivers licence or higher
* A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn new things
* Be physically fit and able to perform manual work
* Be reliable and punctual
* Ability to work in a team or unsupervised and follow instructions
* White card (or willingness to obtain) preferred
* Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
* Previous labouring or construction experience an advantage, but not essential
