About the Position
We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our organization in a key role. This position is designed for someone with solid technical knowledge, ready to take responsibility for preparing financial reports, supporting clients with compliance obligations, and contributing to advisory services under the guidance of senior accountants and managers.
Key Responsibilities
* Financial Analysis: Compile and analyse financial information to prepare statutory financial statements, management reports, and annual accounts.
* Compliance Management: Ensure financial records and reports comply with relevant standards and statutory requirements.
* Taxation Obligations: Prepare and lodge taxation obligations including income tax, BAS, IAS, and FBT, ensuring compliance with legislation.
* Business Planning: Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections to support client business planning.
* Performance Improvement: Identify variances in financial performance and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and compliance.
* Accounting Support: Support clients with accounting system processes and help maintain accurate financial databases.
* Audit Preparation: Assist in preparing documentation for audits and liaising with auditors as required.
* Client Advice: Provide timely advice to clients on accounting, taxation, and compliance matters.
