Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Professional Engineer to join our team in the field of Avionics and Software. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing airworthiness identification, prioritisation of fleet issues, root cause analysis and development of corrective actions to drive continuous improvement in safety, operational performance and efficiency of aircraft avionic systems and components.
The role will also involve controlling Aircraft Controlled Software (ACS), maintaining e-connectivity platforms on various fleet types, procurement and receipt of FLS design creation and distribution of user modifiable software, SITA/ACARS integration and other initiatives.
Additionally, the Professional Engineer will be responsible for developing and delivering fleet modification projects, including project documentation, vendor proposal assessments, liaising with stakeholders and vendors to meet project milestones and objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Avionics, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Aerospace or equivalent, and experience in developing or approving engineering instructions for Avionics repairs and modifications to Airbus or Boeing aircraft.
The role requires a high level of technical expertise, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and organisational skills.
