The Role
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating all aspects of our daily furniture removal and logistics operations — from scheduling and team management to vehicle maintenance and warehouse organization.
You'll ensure every move runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently while maintaining Allied's world-class service standards.
Candidates must be Australian permanent residents or citizens.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, and allocate all removal and delivery jobs.
Assess loading sites, access points, and parking environments to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Calculate volume (m2 and m3) and confirm that all items will fit into the allocated container(s) or trucks.
Manage the truck maintenance, servicing, and cleaning program.
Oversee storage warehouse operations, including inventory control and space utilisation.
Supervise and lead the drivers and offsiders team.
Minimum 1–2 years of team management or supervisory experience is required.
Operate Heavy Combination (HC) trucks as required to support operations.
Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and company procedures.
Collaborate with management to continuously improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in removals, logistics, or transport operations.
Proven leadership or management experience in a similar environment.
HC (Heavy Combination) Driver's Licence – essential.
Forklift Licence – essential.
Strong understanding of container loading, cubic capacity, and removal logistics.
Excellent planning, problem-solving, and people-management skills.
Commitment to safety, professionalism, and service excellence.
Furniture removals or relocation industry experience is preferred but not essential.
