We are currently looking for an energetic and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our amazing hospitality team. Part Time & Full Time hours are available.
As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for leading and engaging with your team whilst demonstrating an excellent customer focus, committed to creating a great experience for all at Cargo.
You will be someone who thrives in a busy venue while demonstrating:

* Excellent communication skills.
* Dining experience in a similar setting - Casual Dining
* A 'can do' attitude with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
* Calm and caring leadership style who understands the importance of a positive team culture.
* Passion for food, beer and people.
* A minimum of one year experience as an Assistant Manager or Supervisor
* Experience using SevenRooms ideal but not essential
* Computer literacy / proficiency
More specifically, your duties will include but are not limited to:
* Along with the Restaurant Manager, overseeing the daily operations of the venue - including opening, closing and everything in between.
* Daily cash handling and reconciliation
* End to end management of the hospitality team – hiring, training and development along with rostering.
* Communicating effectively with management and the team to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience.
* Liaise regularly with the Head Chef, Restaurant Manager & General Manager about daily operations, upcoming bookings and events.
* Achieve financial goals/budgets, wages and cost of goods control.
* Oversee social media platforms.
* Implement and abide by health and safety protocols.
