Senior Mental Health Care Specialist

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mental Health Care Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality evidence-based clinical care to achieve better health outcomes for adults aged 18 years and over who experience mental health concerns and their families and carers.
* Conduct intake and assessments, including risk assessments, care treatment planning, care coordination with internal & external services, and provide brief psychological intervention.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist OR AASW registration/eligibility as a Social Worker.
* Flexibility to work afternoons & evenings, weekends and public holidays.
* Knowledge & understanding of the theory underpinning evidence-based interventions & clinical practice as well as demonstrated excellence in the practical application of such, in the areas of mental health and alcohol and drug use.
* Highly developed communication (including written) and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to engage with people, advocate on their behalf and establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, clients, families & friends and stakeholders.
* Experience in the use of electronic client/customer management systems, ability to use a desktop computer, and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
* Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC.
* Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance.
