Our Client is an established underground hard rock mining operations producing base metals (polymetallic deposits like gold, copper and silver). We're seeking a versatile/multi-skilled underground Bogger & Truck Operator who thrive on variety, safety, and delivering results in a production-driven environments.
About the Role
You'll be part of a professional team responsible for a wide range of underground production and development activities; charging, bogging, services, and ground support, while maintaining a high standard of safety and efficiency.
Our clients operate a modern fleets of Caterpillar R2900/R1700 loaders, Caterpillar AD45t and AD55t Class trucks, Sandvik loaders LH621, LH517 and Sandvik TH430 and TH540 trucks and/or Epiroc (Atlas Copco) MT65 and MT6020.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operations of manual and RCT CAT and Sandvik Loaders and trucks
* Basic/advance mucking and bogging out headings
* Contribute to smooth underground operations by supporting in all aspects of underground mining operations from operating Cat Loaders, truck operations and preparation and support of development and production charge up and service crew duties.
* Contribute to safety site operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
Skills & Qualifications
* Preferably 3–5 years underground mining experience across production and development bogging and truck operations .
* Verified competency (VOCs / RPLs) in the operations of underground CAT and Sandvik loaders and haul trucks are prefer and/or similar Epiroc(Atlas Copco) equivalent underground loaders and truck models.
* Strong working knowledge of mine safety systems and ground control practices.
* Current underground medical, mine induction, and valid driver's licence.
* Ability to work effectively in teams with a proactive safety-first mindset.
* Multi-skilled in bogging, truck operations, charge up and service crew tasks
* First Aid, Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets - desirable
* Strong communication and reliability record.
