Job Title: Project Budget Manager
The HumeLink West project is a major infrastructure undertaking that involves the construction of new 500kV double circuit transmission lines spanning approximately 140km from Wagga Wagga Substation to Gugaa, the Interface Point with HumeLink East near Gundagai and a new substation at Maragle in the Snowy Mountains for future connection to Snowy 2.0.
As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction on cost management, establishing and monitoring project baseline budgets, producing regular end-of-month cost reports, maintaining risk registers to include change impacts, and monitoring and reporting on actual costs versus budget.
To excel in this role, you will need:
* Tertiary qualifications in business, commercial, engineering, finance or a related field;
* Minimum 5 years' experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects;
* Demonstrated proficiency in cost management tools (Excel, SAP, Power BI, SharePoint, JDE);
* Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills; and
* Effective conflict resolution skills.
In addition, you will need to hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card) and undergo a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencing work on site.
