About the Position
The Waste Management Officer will ensure waste is correctly assessed and charged at the Shire of Broome's Waste Management Facility, while delivering high-quality customer service, applying clear and consistent rules for all users, and supporting the communication of the Shire's waste management objectives.

This is a casual position based at the Shire of Broome's Waste Management Facility.
About You
* Excellent customer service skills including the ability to deal with agitated and/or difficult customers.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Knowledge of filing and records management.
* Competent in the use of Microsoft Office programs.
* A demonstrated understanding of the principles of equal opportunity and, occupational health and safety.
* Proven ability to contribute effectively as a team player.
* Experience in handling cash.
