This high-impact role sits at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and economic insight—positioning you as a key advisor on matters that shape the city’s economic future and enhance its competitiveness, livability, and resilience.You’ll be responsible for delivering detailed economic analyses—including cost-benefit assessments, economic modelling, and impact evaluations—to guide projects and policies across Council. Your work will inform long-term economic development strategies and contribute to initiatives that support innovation, business growth, and residential and commercial investment. You’ll play a leading role in interpreting state, national, and global economic trends to identify opportunities and challenges relevant to Adelaide’s future.Collaboration is central to this role, as you’ll partner with the Adelaide Economic Development Agency, Corporate Services, and cross-council teams to provide strategic advice and maintain robust economic data frameworks.
