About the Position Are you a passionate leader capable of supporting and mentoring teams across multiple sites to deliver exceptional early childhood education and care? Greater Hume offers a leadership opportunity for an experienced early childhood professional seeking to advance their leadership career.
Greater Hume Children's Services is an established provider dedicated to high-quality education and care in a nurturing, nature-based environment. We operate four Early Childhood Centres across Culcairn, Henty, Holbrook, and Walla Walla, with three sites also offering OSHC services. The Children's Services Coordinator will lead, manage, and provide specialist knowledge to Centre leaders and teams. Building strong relationships with stakeholders, especially teams, families, and agencies, is essential. The Coordinator will serve as the Nominated Supervisor for all centres and OSHC services, working in partnership with the Children's Services Manager to ensure sustainable operations and consistent high-quality care.
We are looking for: Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education; Leadership experience in a childcare or EYLF environment or equivalent; Deep knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework, including Assessment and Rating experience; A passion for delivering high-quality childcare services; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Current Accredited Child Protection training; Current First Aid Certificate; Current Class 'C' Drivers Licence; and Ability to hold and maintain a current Working with Children Check and a National Police Check. Salary and Hours This role offers a salary range of $95,000 to $106,400 gross per annum plus an 11.5% Council Superannuation contribution. The position involves a 35-hour workweek within a 9-day fortnight and includes a Council vehicle on a leaseback arrangement for work and personal use.
