About Component Maintenance Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic organisation at the forefront of technology.
Located in the heart of the Shoalhaven, we are seeking a self-motivated team player to join our aircraft Maintenance team.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
* Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks, repairs, modifications and replacement of parts.
* Determine feasibility of repair or replacement by consulting manufacturers' manuals for specifications.
* Perform assigned component maintenance tasks in accordance with all applicable regulatory authority requirements (DASA, DCMA), Approved Maintenance Data, and company standards.
* Maintenance tasks may include, but are not limited to, scheduled and unscheduled inspections, servicing, repairs, maintenance, removal/installations, modifications and STIs on applicable aircraft systems, components, role equipment or ground support equipment.
* E nsure all documentation relating to work performed are signed and, where approved, certified in a timely manner as required by company procedure.
* Detect and identify defects and assist in drafting appropriate reports.

Essential Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications (Certificate II or above) in a relevant discipline (Aeroskills, Mechanical, Engineering, Automotive etc.) from a recognised institution
* Basic knowledge and understanding of the requirements of at least one of the following regulatory frameworks: DASA, DCMA.
* Computer literacy with an ability to analyse and interpret reports.
