* As a Communications System Operator, you'llbe responsible for operating cutting-edge technology, such as satellite terminals, radios and advanced security equipment, to provide vital military communications anywhere in the world
* As an Electronic Systems Technician, you'll be responsible for looking after some of the world's most technologically advanced equipment, where you'll handle and maintain a range of high-tech Army assets. Location:
Following your initial military training and initial employment training, you could be posted to one of the many Army bases and units across Australia. The majority of positions are located in Melbourne, Darwin, Townsville, Brisbane and Sydney.
Salary:
Upon commencing training, your starting salary will be approximately $60,517 per annum plus 16.4% superannuation and your pay will increase as you progress through training.
On completion of your initial military training and initial employment training, you'll enjoy a package starting from $86,453 to $95,741 per annum depending on your role.
Eligibility:
For this role, you must:
* Be at least 17 at the time of enlistment, an Australian Citizen, and have completed an Australian Year 10 education (or equivalent) with passes in English and Mathematics. In addition, Electronic Systems Technician requires passes in Science (with a Physics component desirable) and one other subject
