**Role**
Working with the Head of Engineering and the Operations team, the Building Services Manager is responsible for assisting with the technical performance and market leading direction of the commercial assets across the groups portfolio in Adelaide.
With a strong focus on the environmental performance of the assets as well as the day to day operation of the services, the role will be responsible for identifying and coordinating tuning works that enhance the customer experience to improve tenant attraction and retention.
- Identify services related installation and operational defects.
- Review the submitted As-Built documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Be involved in the commissioning, functional testing and ongoing fine tuning of the building services.
- Maintaining, and where possible, exceeding expected / committed NABERS Energy, Water, Waste and Indoor Environment ratings. This includes the collation of information associated with the BEEC submission
- Provide technical support and assistance to the Head of Sustainability & Engineering and Procurement Manager during the tender process for all building hard services
**Requirements/Qualifications**
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role in a Premium or A Grade commercial development, preferably with a background from a relevant consulting firm or commissioning agent.
- High understanding of building services and their operation.
- Experience in the handover of commercial buildings from a development to an operational asset
- High level environmental performance knowledge, including NABERS, Green Star and WELL.
- Formal qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering (or related discipline)
