The role of the Design & Technology Teacher is pivotal in guiding students as they navigate their educational journey, particularly in Stage 4. This position involves teaching Design & Technology to secondary students in an innovative and collaborative environment. Requirements:
- A commitment and passion for teaching middle school students and adapting to innovative teaching methodologies
- A teaching degree with a minimum of three years of post-qualification experience, specialising in Design & Technology with knowledge of NESA syllabus content
- Valid Working with Children check and a commitment to child welfare
- Confidence and commitment to building ICT confidence in students within developing technologies
- High expectations and aspirations for all students with a commitment to their overall development as young people
- An open-minded approach, willingness to learn and develop
- Demonstrable passion for teaching and a proven track record
