Leading Asset Maintenance Strategies
About the Role
* This is a challenging role requiring extensive working knowledge and experience relating to asset management in asset-centric environments.
The successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of asset maintenance strategies, systems, and processes across various assets. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing sound asset management strategies and systems, leading the planning and review of outsourced operations and maintenance, building and developing the asset management team's capacity and capability, and preparing and maintaining accurate records and reports advising senior leaders and stakeholders on asset performance and capital needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop, implement, and continuously improve sound asset management strategies and systems within the organisation.
2. Lead the planning, review and performance measurement of outsourced operations and maintenance – establishing KPIs and leveraging partner expertise to support strategic asset management goals.
3. Build and develop the asset management team's capacity and capability to ensure a high-performing team that can integrate with internal and external teams.
This role requires specialist knowledge and skills relating to whole-of-asset-life-cycle management focusing on maintenance, asset risk, portfolio investment, asset data information systems, and a tertiary degree in Engineering (desirable).
