Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Technical Coordinator is to be the first point of contact for operational issues with the NIF Trains and to coordinate fault detection and rectification between train drivers and the NSCC Fleet Controller. This involves working closely with the Fleet Operations Controller to respond promptly to emergent fleet issues, minimizing downtime.
Reporting to the Planning & Logistics Manager, you will serve as the main contact for customer support via the UGL Helpdesk and contribute to operational planning, including recording and prioritizing maintenance activities for the NIF Fleet.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Experience in rolling stock maintenance and/or commissioning
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, FMI parts bulletins, and bill of materials
* Proficiency in resolving complex mechanical and electrical warranty, quality, and maintenance issues
* Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and availability requirements
* Experience with SAP is highly desirable
