Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Cranes & Rigging Supervisor to join our Gladstone Operations team, based on Curtis Island, QLD.
This is a local-only opportunity on a casual contract, working Monday to Friday on a 9 day fortnight.
In this role, you'll support Turnaround activities by planning, coordinating and supervising daily work crews, while ensuring compliance and safety remain at the forefront. You'll work closely with the Turnaround Coordinator/Manager to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
* Ensure crane, scaffolding and rigging activities are completed safely and meet the schedule, respecting the critical path and deadlines.
* Allocate work and provide direction to relevant trades specific work requirements.
* Supervise, coach and mentor direct reports; ensure that site workers have the necessary competencies to undertake assigned tasks.
* Communicate with client representatives on a day-to-day basis, to plan work, keep them informed of progress, resolve any issues of concern and identify variations or additional work required.
* Identify and drive cost savings and safety improvement initiatives and report on lessons learned and completion/outcomes to the business.
What you will bring
* Site based experience in the Oil and Gas industry (highly regarded).
* High Risk Work license: crane (CO highly regarded), Intermediate Rigging and Scaffolding.
* Demonstrable experience in a supervisory role within the resources or construction sector.
* Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate others.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven track record of maintaining a safe working environment.
* Proof of right to work in Australia.
