Role Overview
Based from our head office in Mackay, our Account Managers are responsible for proactively identifying opportunities, providing product advice and support and developing appropriate solutions to a range of mining clients throughout the Mackay Region and Bowen Basin.
Experience within the Mining industry, a sales background and technical aptitude to understand complex pumping / water treatment systems and applications will be a strong advantage.
Effective use of our systems (training provided) and excellent communication skills are essential to the success of this role.
To ensure you can provide the best service to your clients, this role includes a fully maintained company vehicle, company laptop and mobile phone. Meals and accommodation provided as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships within your territory by providing exceptional service experiences by understanding and managing client expectations.
* Providing expert product knowledge and technical support to ensure customer satisfaction across a range of solutions including but not limited to:
o Surface and Underground Dewatering Equipment
o Water and Sewage Treatment Plants
o Repairs, Installation, Maintenance and Servicing of Pumps, Valves, Pipes, etc.
* Develop and maintain sales skills, market trend, technical and product knowledge.
* Learn and effectively utilise CRM system
* Proven experience of sales success including Client Account Management and Business Development.
* Prior experience in the pumping, water treatment or mining industry
* A proactive and results driven mindset
* Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with a team, to achieve successful outcomes.
