Responsibilities
As our next Front Office Supervisor or Duty/Assistant Manager, you will:
* Take the helm and guide the front office's day-to-day operations with expertise
* Lead the Front Office Team like a mentor, nurturing growth and skill-building in a supportive atmosphere
* Collaborate with guests, extending a helping hand to find solutions for any challenges that may arise
* Contribute to roster planning and preparation
* Embrace authenticity and let your unique self-shine in every shift
As our next Night Manager, you will:
* Manage nightly hotel operations and ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises during your shift
* Deliver continuous customer service throughout the evening, including check-ins, checkouts, and guest inquiries
* Manage the reception desk and oversee night audit and reporting procedures
* Uphold overnight property security standards
* Assist in preparing for the daytime team's operations
As our next Front Office Manager, you will:
* Communicate confidently with guests and colleagues to ensure cohesive collaboration
* Resolve challenges alongside guests, delivering creative solutions
* Recruit, train, and mentor Front Office team members, monitoring performance
* Adhere to OH&S requirements, respond to emergencies, and prioritise safety
* Handle reservations, guest accounts, and data analysis accurately
* Monitor budgets, expenditure, and revenue to support informed operational decisions and achieve financial objectives
As our next Operations Manager, you will:
* Lead by example and collaborate with the General Manager and department leaders to manage operational needs
* Engage in forward planning and strategic thinking for future success
* Set performance benchmarks and expectations across departments
* Implement and maintain safety protocols and security measures for guests, staff, and property
* Address and solve operational issues and challenges
* Provide mentorship and guidance to empower teams
Qualifications & Experience
Applicable to all roles:
* Demonstrated expertise in Hotel Front Office Operations with leadership experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor
* Proficiency in using reservation and property management systems is a plus
* Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure with strong organizational and time-management skills
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills
* Flexible rotating schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
