We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be the face of our company, ensuring life-saving medical equipment is performing at its peak. You will provide essential technical support to our clients in hospitals and clinics and build strong customer relationships.
* Troubleshoot, test and repair medical equipment in line with industry best practice.
* Perform preventative maintenance on various range of medical equipment.
* Respond to customer inquiries by phone and provide onsite technical support
* Within the positions skills and experience undertake installation and Acceptance Testing of Medical equipment and entering data into the company Management Systems
* Complete service reports & required documentation and enter data into the company's Management Systems
* Work within defined SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) for all service and maintenance activities
* This position is field-based, hospital and workshop role and may require occasional travel away from home
* Undertake "On-Call" duties as directed from time to time – this may be outside usual business hours
* Complete service reports or required documentation in a timely manner
* Participate as an active team member to plan and install a range of equipment
Must-Haves:
* A qualification in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
* Proven experience (ideally 2 + years) as a Field Service Technician, preferably with medical devices.
* Strong technical aptitude with excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* A valid Australian driver's license and a willingness to travel as required.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to customer service.
* A current QLD restricted electrical license.
