We are looking for a Site Foreman for the Brenton operation at Astral Foods Ltd.
The role involves leading and managing site operations to achieve production standards.
Responsibilities
The planning, organising, leading and control of all aspects and duties assigned to achieve production standards.
Managing all labour-related issues to ensure that all staff members contribute to the company's objectives.
The maintenance of product quality, hygiene and bio-security standards.
Managing all resources to the maximum benefit of the company.
Implementing and managing continual improvement through the 20 Keys principles, risk and safety.
Managing health, safety and risk on your site.
Qualifications
Minimum of a Grade 12 education; tertiary education in Agriculture is an advantage.
Minimum of 3 years breeder experience.
Passionate, self-motivated and performance-driven.
A team player with strong people skills and the ability to manage staff.
Must have good administrative skills and the ability to control documents.
Must be pro-active and able to work accurately and independently.
Working hours are irregular and include weekend duties and public holidays.
Must be willing to live in accommodation provided on the farm.
